Small footprint, commercial performance
The Mini is the smallest on demand coffee grinder in the Mazzer line.
Its heavy duty die-cast aluminum body, stepless grind control and reliable interface make it the best choice for any setup with limited space.

The fastest mini ever
Mini’s tailor-made asynchronous motor is designed to last over time and boost grinding speed by more than 50% compared to the previous model.
The grinder delivers 2-2.5 g/s (data may vary depending on coffee and grind setting).

Quality in every cup
The grinder delivers consistent doses, both in weight and particles, ensuring quality at every extraction. Mini can be equipped with two sets of 64mm flat burrs, both designed and manufactured in-house by Mazzer.
233M burrs for rich texture
Mini is standard fitted with 233M bearing steel 64mm flat burrs. These burrs deliver well balanced extractions, nice acidity and a relevant body, particularly suited to cut through milk. The structure of flavours is complex and its intensity stays through the whole experience.
k202D optional burrs for sweet delicate extractions
These high-performance special steel burrs stand out for sweet delicate extractions, soft flavours, silky texture, and medium body. They fit well with light roasted coffees as they balance acidity and enhance sweetness.

Grinding made easy
Mini is designed to guarantee effortless workflow and easy maintenance. Main features:
- Portafilter activation button to grind hands-free.
- Adjustable portafilter holder to consistently center the flow of grinds in the basket.
- Antistatic system to keep the counter clean from coffee dust while delivering uniform coffee grounds.

FAQs
Which burrs should I pick?
The Mini is supplied with 233M bearing steel flat burrs, which deliver well balanced extractions, rich velvety texture, nice acidity and a relevant body, particularly suited to cut through milk. The structure of flavours is complex and its intensity stays through the whole experience.
Mini can be equipped with an optional second set of high-performance special steel burrs which stand out for sweet delicate extractions, soft flavours, silky texture, and medium body. They fit well with light roasted coffees as they balance acidity and enhance sweetness. This set of burrs is particularly easy to dial in
Do I need to season my burrs?
Mini' burrs have a unique and dedicated surface finishing which makes them ready to go and stable straight from the very beginning. To initiate the grinder, just make sure you don’t use the very first 50 g of ground coffee for preparing coffee.
Which is the retention of Mazzer Mini? Can I use it as a single dose grinder?
Mazzer Mini is ment to be used as a hopper grinder, loading beans in the hopper and gradually dosing coffee with the provided user interface. The grinder has 8 grams retention, intended as the coffee that stays in the grinding chamber after the burrs and in the chute. This is the amount of coffee which should be purged after a change in the fineness of the grind, to see a difference in the extraction time. The use of Mazzer Mini as single dose grinder is not recommended.
Can I spray my beans with water?
Mazzer recommends not to spray beans with water before grinding, as this could cause clogging of the burrs outlets, risk of jamming and, most likely oxidation of the burrs.
Can I install third parties burrs on my Mazzer Mini?
Mazzer highly recommends not to use burrs which are not conceived and designed by Mazzer on the specific model. This includes burrs from other producers, but also burrs made by Mazzer for other grinders.
This advice takes into consideration several technical aspects, included the basic functionalities of the grinder during time. Using a different set of burrs affects motor performances, heat, retention, statics, wearing of capacitor, vibrations, particle size, parallelism, cleanliness of the chamber and so on. The only recommended burrs for Mini are Mazzer 233M and 202D.
How many kg per day can I grind on my Mini?
Mazzer Mini is recommended up to 1 kg of coffee ground per day.
Do you check parallelism of the burrs before shipping?
Every single component which involves adjustment and grinding is controlled in tolerances both by optical and contact measuring technology after being machined. The whole factory toolings are checked multiple times a day to adjust the tooling machines to the changing climate conditions.
Why there’s coffee ground in my new Mazzer Mini?
Finding ground coffee between the burrs is perfectly normal when you purchase a Mazzer grinder. At Mazzer, each assembly operator is responsible for assembling and testing the grinder from start to finish, including grinding some coffee beans to ensure everything is working perfectly.
Why there is a small spot on my polished aluminum Mini?
When choosing polished aluminum body for Mazzer Mini, please be informed that the finishing of the body is a handcrafted operation, which might bring to the surface small subtle shadows of the aluminum flow into the mold. This is not considered as defect.
